F10-8212 Appeal Response

Here are links to the final Appeal copies for the seven AB Cases identified within F10-8212. They are still excessively redacted, but there is ample specific content to identify the allegations, locations, and some disciplinary actions. Links to PDF’s in BLUE.

  • pg.5: AB08-0138 — a supervisor at ONT tower reported on 3/14/08 that a controller had made inappropriate comments, related to sex and Judaism.

  • pg.6-7: AB08-0112 — a female controller at SEE tower reported on 2/13/08 a long history of harassing and intimidating behavior from a male SBA tower controller, beginning when they both attended the FAA Academy in OKC. She reported a pattern of strange behavior.

  • pg.8-9: AB08-0101 — the Manager at TOA tower reported on 1/29/08 that pornographic content had been found on an FAA workplace computer. An AB Case was opened, and a formal security investigation was done. A probationary female controller (in her first year, and in training) was fired, on charges she had lied ‘interfered with’ the investigation, based on her answers. The ROI did not substantiate who had downloaded the pornographic files.

  • pg.10-11: AB08-0096 — a female SEE tower controller reported on 1/15/08 that a male SEE controller had made inappropriated comments and contact of a sexual nature.

  • pg.12: AB08-0013 — a male supervisor at AeroCenter reported on 10/17/07 that a female manager at AeroCenter had made racist comments.

  • pg.13: AB08-0174 — a female contract drugtest collector reported to Jason Ralph at SFO tower that a female controller she was drug-testing made inappropriate comments. The controller was being witnessed producing a urine sample when she allegedly became hostile and said: “…you must be a lesbian … you are looking at my vagina … you are looking at my genital …”

  • pg.14: AB08-0160 — the male Manager at the Tuscon TRACON filed an AB complaint against his female secretary, alleging she was overly friendly, touching his hands and arms, and had made inappropriate comments. The charges were never substantiated and, in fact, the manager was later found to have attempted to manipulate testimony by his subordinates, and a suspension was proposed AGAINST THE MANAGER.
