Working to Solve the Problems Created by NextGen

NATCA’s position on FAA’s NGATS program, 6-months prior to FAA’s adoption of the ‘NextGen’ brandname, as stated by Doug Fralick, at a conference in early September 2005. Note, too, how NATCA brags about a decade spent working with FAA to upgrade technologies (see middle of page two, “Over the past nine years….”); one year later, FAA’s ‘White Book’ imposed work rules began, and the FAA-NATCA relationship did not begin to recover until mid-2009.
